"Our relationship is certainly based on spontaneous love. That is why there is no chance of us forgetting one another. By the mercy of Guru and Gauränga may everything be auspicious for you. This is my constant prayer. From the first time I saw you I have been your constant well-wisher. At his first sight of me, Srila Prabhupada also saw me with such love. It was in my very first darsana of Srila Prabhupada that I learned how to love." (Excerpt from Srila Prabhupada’s letter 28 September, 1966)

Some of the original handwritten letters in Bengali and Hindi, that Sri Srimad Bhaktivedanta Svami Maharaja (Srila Prabhupada) wrote to his dear friend, Sri Srimad Bhaktivedanta Narayana Gosvami Maharaja in Srila Prabhupada's first few years in America, along with their English translations, comprise this tasteful, photo-rich, presentation. "Our relationship is certainly based on spontaneous love. That is why there is no chance of us forgetting one another." [Letter dated September 1966.]

This booklet presents previously unpublished letters written by Srila Prabhupada during his first years in America. They are parts of a long correspondence between Srila Prabhupada and his siksa disciple and friend Srila Bhaktivedanta Narayana Gosvami Maharaja, a disciple of Seila Prabhupada’s godbrother and sannyasa guru, Srila Bhakti Prajanan Kesava Gosvami Maharaja. These letters are only a few of over two hundred that Srila Prabhupada wrote, mostly in Bengali and Hindi, to Srila Narayana Gosvami Maharaja between 1965 and 1977. They were preserved in a separate folder which was just recently located. The Butler, Pennsylvania entry is the first letter on record that Srila Prabhupada sent from America.
